SONY SCD-777ES CD & SACD player great condition

One of the very best CD/SACD players in very, very good condition, and with all accessories. Recently checked out by George Meyer A/V.

Chassis panels are in very good condition no dents, no serious scratches. Only issue is the Toslink connector does not make a good seal (but thats not a problem because youll be using the higher-spec SP/DIF RCA output if youre going to use this as a CD transport only). I had been using it as a transport with a Holospring May DAC or a Weiss 502. But when I tried using the SONYs internal convertors, it sounded excellent I dont know if I could tell the difference compared to using the outboard DACs! This model is big and VERY heavy over 50lbs!

Includes the original remote control in excellent condition. Stereo SACD and CD playback. Dual fixed optical pickups: 1 for SACD, 1 for CD. Synchronous Time Accuracy Controller (S-TACT) suppresses time-base jitter. 24-bit variable-coefficient (VC) digital filter for CD.

Floating suspension transport with rubber dampers and 6mm base plate. Die-cast aluminum spindle motor with sapphire and ruby bearings.

Analog outputs for SACD; optical and coaxial digital outputs for CD. SACD frequency response 2-50,000 Hz. 17"W x 5-13/16"H x 20D.
