For sale is a Sony SCD-1 in excellent working order. Unit is clean and ready to be put into service and includes the original clamp.

Only issue is the nicks present on the right rear corner as seen in the photo. These could be touched up but aren't visible from the front. I have the manual, remote, and original box.

Original box does not include the packing material and isn't in great shape so I will be double boxing the unit for sale travel. It weighs over 50 lbs. This is a beautiful player.

Serial number is very low. Please message me if you have any gear for sale but dont want to deal with listing. I live in Central California and travel to LA as well as the bay area often! You do not need to live near me. I sell mostly vintage electronics.

As such, these items are old and typically out of spec from when they were new. I do my best to test these items and make sure they work before theyre sent out, but I do not guarantee or represent that they will meet the original specifications. I may not even be able to test them, in which case assume that they dont work. However, there are times where I may miss something. If that happens, I hope that you would agree that the most efficient way to take care of an issue is if you simply message me before opening a case or doing anything else.

I need an outlet for these items online, so I have no reason to send you something that doesnt work unless Ive noted that it doesnt. I know what it takes to get an item to you safely. You will NOT have to ask for it. I will do my best to get items out within a few days, however there are instances where that is not possible. The policies here are difficult in this regard because these vintage items in particular need to be moved and packed carefully.

I do not want to damage anything by rushing.
