I decided to sell this Brand New, Never Plugged In Marantz ND8006 CD Player/Music Streamer/DAC/Digital Preamp which I unboxed and placed in my audio cabinet months ago. The unit was NEVER powered up or utilized in any capacity. I was using my other devices and adding to my overall system for the past 15 months. My focus has been on upgrading my cassette devices as well as my phono equipment. I also used my CD transport with a Denafrips ARES II DAC.

This ND8006 was always designed to be a backup system and I had planned to learn to stream music, but decided that I really didn't need to enter that area for my music needs. This could be described as an OPEN BOX item since it was removed from the carton and placed in my audio cabinet but could also be considered as a NEW item. I rated it as an OPEN BOX or a 10/10 MINT since it was opened and shelved. But really it's a BRAND NEW device as it's never even been powered up.

Zero scratches, dents or any other visual imperfections as far as I can tell. Since this device was new coming out of the box, I would not expect any issues cosmetically. I value all of my equipment and this piece, though unused, is no exception.

Perfect condition, all paperwork is included, the remote has never been unpacked, cables are included as packed by Marantz. I will double box using the original box as inner.
